Brunch with friends should look effortless, which usually means someone spent the morning in the kitchen — unless we do it instead. MamaVera builds the menu around your particular group: what people eat, what they avoid, whether it's ten of you around a table or thirty in a garden. We deliver across Sintra, Colares and the surrounding villages, either ready to serve or fully set up.
We ask who's coming before we suggest anything — children, a vegan friend, someone avoiding gluten, the one who only eats fish. From there we draft a spread that works as a whole rather than a main dish with awkward substitutions bolted on. Nothing is fixed from a package list; if your group loves one thing and ignores another, we shift the quantities.
Warm savoury baking and small quiches, open sandwiches with cured fish or roasted vegetables, a couple of salads with real dressing, cheeses, seasonal fruit, and our own sweet baking to finish. From the Slavic side we often add syrniki, blini or a stuffed pastry — dishes that suit a slow late morning. Everything arrives on serving platters, so the table is set rather than unpacked.
For a relaxed brunch at home, delivery is usually the right choice: we arrive at an agreed time, lay it out if you like, and leave you to it. For larger gatherings, or if you've rented a quinta for the weekend, one or two staff can stay to keep things moving, refresh coffee and clear up. Tableware and linen can come from our rental stock if you'd rather not run the dishwasher three times.
A week or two is comfortable for a custom menu; weekends in high season fill earlier, so it's worth asking as soon as you have a date.
