A personalised lunchbox gives each child in Sintra their own named box with their own food inside, which removes most of the usual chaos around a shared table. Every box holds the same core selection, adjusted where a child has an allergy or a strong dislike. It works particularly well outdoors and on the move — in a garden in Colares, on a picnic near Monserrate, or in a quinta where the children are running between the trees.
Each box has something savoury and filling, something to nibble, fruit and one sweet item — for example a mini sandwich or wrap, a small pastry or savoury muffin, vegetable batons, fruit pieces and a small cake or cookie. Drinks go separately so nothing leaks. The child's name is on the lid, and boxes for children with allergies are marked differently so no one mixes them up.
Sintra parties tend to move around: a garden, a terrace, a walk, then back again, often with a shower of rain in between. Boxes travel with the children instead of tying everyone to one table, and they hold up if the party relocates indoors. They also solve the counting problem — you know exactly how much food you have and that every child gets the same.
Alongside the boxes we set a normal table for the parents: canapés, a small buffet, salads, coffee and cold drinks. It can be as light as a few platters or a full buffet if the adults are staying for the afternoon. Tableware, linen and serving equipment come with us; staff to serve and clear are optional.
Yes — we can match the box design, labels and colours to your theme, and print each child's name on the lid.
That child's box is prepared separately, sealed and clearly marked with their name and the allergen it avoids, so it cannot be swapped by mistake.
